Charlotte Tilbury: Dolce Vita

Charlotte Tilbury has got to be the one counter that I have to visit every time I go to the Selfridges beauty hall. I'm like a moth to a flame. The girls on the counter are stunning (and their make up is beautiful, most importantly) and the displays and products just scream luxury. Unfortunately, so does the price tag.

 

However, I was lucky enough to have been gifted a Selfridges voucher for my birthday, and I knew immediately I had to buy something from CT. The only question was what.

 

I ummed and aahed at the counter, looking and sampling everything, before settling on the Dolce Vita eyeshadow quad. 

 

Firstly, let's admire the packaging. Sleek, simple, compact, with hints of rose gold. You can't really get better.

 

Inside you get 4 eyeshadows. A light champagne colour perfect for a subtle inner corner and browbone highlight, a rusty coppery colour which looks gorgeous on light coloured eyes and is something different for this time of year, a darker brown which is perfect for a sexy smokey eye...and the glitter. Oh baby. This glitter is just something else. Perfect for the party season, it's so pigmented and beautiful. 

 

So there you have it, my new love. Guaranteed to be in my make up bag ready to take my day make-up to night for the office parties! What do you think? I can't say it's the best value-for-money item out there, but if you fancy treating yourself or a loved one (I bought my flatmate one of these for her birthday) you won't be disappointed.

 

Now to decide on my next CT purchase...
