NARS Laser Cut palette

A few posts ago I wrote about a beautiful NARS palette which had stolen my heart. Well it turns out that my nearest and dearest know me very well, and another very special someone bought me this baby for my birthday…

Enter the Laser Cut palette.

In the palette are three eyeshadows, a lipgloss, a blusher and a bronzer. It’s much smaller in length and width than the Virtual Domination palette, but it’s also more dense. However, I’d say this is the perfect travel-friendly palette to take away for a weekend. You hardly need anything else!

I’d always wanted to try NARS eyeshadows, but felt reluctant to spend nearly £30 on a duo when you can get some amazing palettes like the Urban Decay NAKED palettes for only a little bit more. However, I was not at all disappointed with them. The lighter colour can be used as an everyday eyeshadow, or the glitter and darker olivey colour can be used for a smokier evening look. That’s another thing I think this palette is great for – popping in your handbag and topping up/transforming your make up after work for an evening do.

As I’ve already mentioned, Laguna is an incredible bronzer. The blusher (Day Dream) is also a really nice wearable peachy-pink which brightens up the face.

I wasn’t actually expecting much from the lipgloss, but it’s a gorgeous plummy-mauvey pink colour which I love to wear on an every day basis.

This palette is £35, and personally I think it’s another bargain from NARS. There’s a lot of product there for the price compared to the individual products, and as I’ve said it’s the perfect handbag staple/weekend away palette.

So there you have it. Two NARS palettes in one week! But a girl can never have too much make-up, right?
