Last week I turned 24, and unfortunately I had to spend the day at work (boo). However, on my lunch break my friend Alice from work took me on a little trip to Space NK and bought me the most beautiful present imaginable in the make-up world. This.
I have had my eye on this since seeing it on another blog, and I had it written on my Christmas list for my parents. Everything about it screams luxury and beauty, and with the big mirror and 3 products in one I think it's a real bargain at £45.
In it is the infamous Laguna bronzer (used by none other than Millie Mackintosh), 3 blushers (the infamous Deep Throat *oo-er*, Sex Fantasy and Final Cut) and a highlighter, Miss Liberty.
The pigmentation is amazing on the bronzers and the blushers, and they apply really easily. I love the bronzer because it is slightly more cool toned than others I own, meaning it looks a little more natural as a contour colour. Having three blushers in the palette is so handy, as each can be used to create different looks. I don't usually wear highlighter in the day, but this is perfect to take you from day to night and add a bit of extra shimmer to the face without going overboard disco-ball style.
I did just need to mention that if you don't want to splash out £45, then there is a great alternative in the Sleek 'Face Form' palette for £10. Whilst the products and packaging aren't quite as luxurious, I love the bronzer in this and use it almost every day (until I got the NARS palette). The blusher is shimmery, which I don't usually wear but looks great in the Summer with a tan. The highlighter is pretty glittery and I'm not inclined to reach for it very often, but again it's great to have 3 products in one, and you only have to part with a tenner. Perfect for a little from me to me present that doesn't break the bank.
